It’s amazing what you can do with limited resources. As a mountain guide, cooking under extreme and challenging conditions is part of my friend Dave’s job description. Here with a kitchen kit consisting mainly of hand-me-downs and thrift store purchases, Dave crafts an excellent breakfast.
First he rough chops the vegetables: red and yellow pepper and onion.
As those sautée, he adds a pound of venison he shot himself on a hunting trip with his father in Virginia, then adds scrambled eggs.
The finished product, as you can see, is delicious!
